Call for Nominations
As part of its mission “to increase and disseminate knowledge of the science and technology of tires”, the Tire Society has established two awards for lifetime contributions.
- the Distinguished Achievement Award
- the Distinguished Service Award
The Society is asking you to propose candidates for these awards. Candidates may be living or dead and do not need to currently be active members of the Society.
The Distinguished Achievement Award recognizes an individual whose technical achievements that have significantly advanced the science and technology of tires.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual who, through their service, has significantly advanced the Tire Society.
Each award consists of an honorarium, a plaque, recognition in publications by the Tire Society, a Distinguished Lifetime Membership, and an invitation to give a lecture at the Tire Society Conference.
Award selection follows a formal process of proposal, nomination, and selection.
Deadline for proposed candidate submissions: January 26, 2026
